Worm Farming: Building a worm friendly habitat

Starting out with a glass jar, the children filled it with a layer of rocks and gravel

Adding bits of food the children thought the worms would enjoy was lots of fun.

Finally adding a few worms to their new home and its almost complete

We are done, now we need to wrap it in dark paper and check on the worms tomorrow to see if they have dug some tunnels we can see.
