Bridges and Lilypads: Inspired by Monet

With the onset of spring we decided to begin looking at art from some famous masters. The children were facinated with the impressionist paintings of Monet. The bridge with the lilypads was one they returned to again and again. It was interesting to see how each child saw the painting and what colors and textures seem to capture their creative spirit.
